I took a trip with 2 of my lovely friends to Brighton on Friday to see my one of my best friends to celebrate her finishing her degree! We decided to go to digital on the front which was super fun lots of dancing and late night fun on the beach. Then on the Saturday we explored Brighton town and had some delicious frozen yoghurt on the beach. I'm from the seaside so living in London some times kills me not being able to see the sea.  I really liked my outfit on the Saturday I got it during my New Look haul which I posted before.

Pinafore - New Look
Blouse - Primark
Creepers - Shoe zone
Hair flower - Wild dreams

I love the flower hair clip. My previous post is about wild dreams you guys should check me out! They are really pretty. I hope you liked my post.

Also my lovely friend Toni has just started blogging go and say hi is very friendly :)

Wild Dreams

Wild dreams hair accessories are super cute! They are perfect for this time of year because they are super summery and would be amazing to go with all your festival wear. I was lucky enough to to help out at their latest photoshoot, I got to do a little bit of 'modelling' and also assist the wonderful photographer Hannah! You can go and check out the website here and maybe even buy something. The hair accessories are all handmade so each one is unique! You can also find them on facebook.

The location was super beautiful and I shall go back when the sun comes out and have a little picnic! Hope you like wild dreams. Which one is your favourite?

This weekend I also got the chance to take a trip to Brighton and go to Slam Dunk South festival where I wore some of wild dreams hair accessories. I will be blogging about the weekend during the week once I've got all of the photos together.

Also I have just signed up to the google friend connect so add me please :)

Spotty Nails

Now I'm not very good at nail art so don't be too judgemental. I'm a newbie and this is me practising. So hopefully I will get better and better and also invest in some good nail art stuff! So these nails have the block your green base with the pear drop as spots. There isn't any technique to this I literally just painted the base colour waited for it to dry and then just used the nail brush to spot the pear colour.

Rimmel - Block your green
Rimmel - Pear drop

Hope you like my post.

Yes please #1

Yes please -1

Asos tie dye shift dress - I really want this dress I may go and buy it in a minute! It will be perfect for a trip to the park/beach or I can dress it up for a trip to the pub. Asos are also offering 20% off for students at the moment which is tempting me even more.

Ebay cat ear bowler hat - This hat is super cute and a little different to just a plain bowler. I love the colour and the little ears. Plus it's only like £4 but will have to wait a long time due for postage.

Mod dolly galaxy print skirt - I really like this skirt because I don't own anything like it pattern wise. I think it's the type of skirt I could wear all year round as well.

Topshop jelly shoes - These shoes would be so cool for once the sun finally starts to shine. I owned a pair when I was little and it just reminds me of being young.

Mod dolly floral dress - This dress is really lovely, I always love a good floral print. I could wear this dress either a day in the sunshine or a night out.

Hope you liked my first 'yes please' blog, hopefully there will be many more :)

New Look Haul

I love New Look especially when they have a sale on! Which they currently do. I bought a few items and because they are super cheap I don't have as much guilt (it is rent day after all).

This camouflage shirt was reduced to £6 so I couldn't really say no. I haven't always been a fan of camouflage but as I've seen so many people wearing it and they look good it's definitely grown on me! Also bought the size up so it wasn't as fitted, shirts always need to be bigger in my eyes.

Tie dye t-shirt. Everyone loves a bit of tie dye. Last year I did my own but this time I thought it would be easier just to buy a t-shirt. I still have last years but wanted another colour. Again I bought a bigger size!

Collar clips - I wasn't sure whether this was going to be nice or look tacky! But I quite like it. It's pretty cool just to make a blouse a bit more interesting! I really like the eagles.

Floral pinafore - I seen this instore but they didn't have my size, lucky I didn't purchase it because it then went on sale! It's so lovely and pinafores are just great! And very on trend at the moment. I have done a previous pinafore post! I really love the floral print, it's totally different to my other pinafore as well.

I also got to go and see the postal service in Brixton on Monday which was super fun! Managed to get some cheap last minute tickets from gumtree an hour before they came on! It was a massive rush!

Thanks for looking! Now time to continue with my uni work.

Recently I went back to Cornwall for my cousins wedding. It was gorgeous weather which was super lucky because it was forecast to my cloudy (never trust the weather man/woman). My lovely boyfriend bought me some Irregular Choice shoes and I spent ages trying to find a green dress to match! I ended up finding a lovely dress from joy the store. The day was so much fun, lovely weather, lots of food and drink and surrounded by family and friends what more could you ask for! :)

My baby cousin and I.

My family.

The cousins.

The boyfriend.

The shoes.

The wedding cake - all cheese!

Dress - Louche (
Shoes - Irregular Choice
Hair feather and bag - Monsoon accessorize
Shawl - My mums

This dress! It was a mission to find, I've discovered no where sells green dresses! I went to Westfield Stratford, Drake circus Plymouth, trolled the web and then finally joythestore. I really like the scallop detail around the neck and it fitted really nicely. The material is quite thick as well. Top marks!

The shoes! The Shoes! I love these shoes and I managed to wear them the whole day (11hours) which is an accomplishment for me. They have a nice thick heel which makes it better. I just love Irregular choice, I love how different they all are. They are a bit more expensive then I would pay normally (because I am a cheap skate) but their sales are very good!

The hair feather and bag were a day before find. I didn't really want a fascinator so I opted for a feather. I thought the pink would go quite well with the pink shawl and my dip dye! The bag was excellent I could fit so much in it, but it did get glitter all over me, just added a little sparkle to my dress :)

Over all it was an amazing day and wish my lovely cousin and his new bride a long and happy marriage!

Black Cherries

Thought I would do a quick nail polish post! This nail varnish is Rimmel London Lasting Finish black cherries. I'm a big fan of dark nails, I'm not too keen on pastels so this colour is perfect. It a really nice dark purple. I've had it on for a day on two, I've had to do a slight touch up but it's stayed on pretty well. I can never find a polish that stays on for a while, anyone got a recommendations for me?

Hopefully another post should be up over the weekend!

Portobello Market!

A trip to Portobello market with my lovely friend Hannah! This was a little while ago but seems it's a horrible day here is a nice wintery post. I have been wanting to go since I moved to London in 2011 but just haven't got my bottom into gear. Portobello Market wasn't what I expected, at one end it was pretty much a car boot sale, but then as I went to the other end it was really cute! Nice little boutiques, stalls and colourful houses!

Faux Fur coat - River Island

Velvet peter pan collar dress - Oh my love

Satchel Bag - Car boot

Shoes - Ebay (I believe Dr Martens)

My fur coat was a Christmas present a couple of years ago and I love wearing it every winter! It's super warm. The velvet dress was bought whilst on sale on the oh my love website. You can wear this dress day or night you can dress it up or down. My bag was purchased at a car boot in Cornwall I was a bargain! If I remember rightly it was £2. My sandals, I fell in love with these on ebay and watched them for days and was desperate to win them. I was looking everywhere last year for a pair like these and now they are in every shop! They are super comfy and go with pretty much everything!

Sunday, 12 May 2013

So I have been away for a couple of months! I think university work has got the better of me. Instead of revising for my exam tomorrow I have decided to do a blog post.

Pinafore – Ark clothing
Cardigan – New Look
Blouse – New Look
Tights – Primark
Boots – Rocket Dogs
Hair bow – Boots
Necklace – Vivienne Westwood
I really love pinafores and dungarees at the moment, along with everyone else. I think they look really sweet and remind me of being a little girl. I prefer to wear pinafores in a more casual way rather then dressing them up and I also have many a blouse which I can chop and change to make the outfit different. My velvet rocket dog boots were a Christmas present from my parents, I really like them they are super comfy and have ribbons instead of laces which are cute. They also have a thick sole which is very ‘in’ at the moment. My necklace was bought at a sample sale, I love Vivienne Westwood so when I saw her stuff at this sale I went a little crazy!  I wear this necklace with everything!
Well probably time to get back to my revising! I hopefully will be back next week.
