Lifestyle: Slam Dunk #SDF14

Last Sunday I went to slam dunk south music festival. I went last year as well and again it was a lot of fun! It's only a day festival but I've been paying for it for a couple of days with my ridiculous hangover, I got a little carried away!! We were very lucky because the sun decided to shine for us and the rain stayed away! I got to see gnarwolves, the ataris, all american rejects, we are the in crowd, motion city soundtrack and more! All were so good!

You may have seen a photo or two already if you follow me on instagram!
Have you been to any of the slam dunk festivals?

Beauty: Soap & Glory Thick and Fast

I'm not really a beauty blogger but I thought I would give it ago, so please bare with me! I suffer with what I call baby eyes, because my eye lashes are blonde, without mascara I feel that I look a lot younger so I never go a day without it! I have been using the Soap & Glory Thick and Fast mascara for over a year now and continue to replace it when it runs out which is a sign of a pretty good mascara. Before Soap & Glory I was constantly changing mascaras but now I'm sticking with this one.

I think I need to apologise for the two photos of me but I didn't know how else to show off the mascara. Beauty bloggers I don't know how you do it! Anyway I'm pretty luck anyway with my eye lash length but I feel that the thick and fast really make my lashes look even longer and I don't have to apply it thickly, this is just one coat. This mascara costs around £10 which I think is a reasonable price for mascara.

Have you tried this mascara before? What do you think of it?

Lets Be Positive: Sharing Some Love

Lately there has been some negativity within the blogging community so I want to add some positivity ! I thought I would do this by showing off my favourite outfits from various fashion bloggers that I follow! Hope you like what I've chosen. Blogs are linked below the photo.
I really love Laura's outfit! Such a perfect day look with an added 90's feel. I'm a big sucker for chokers at the moment!!

I always love seeing Elizabeth's outfits! She has this talent where she can put clashing patterns together and they always look perfect, very jealous!

I'm a bit behind and have only recently discovered Tiger's blog. And what great style she does have! I love this outfit especially the big necklace and green jacket.

I'm a massive fan of Visa's blog, her outfits are always very stylish and is the queen of monochrome! I love this look, you can't beat this quirky eye print dress and leather jacket!

I'm such a fan of Amy's outfit! I really want this stripey dress, I love anything nautical! Can't go wrong with a big hat either. Such a lovely casual outfit.

I've been following Jenn's blog for a while now and I love her edgier look. Her outfits never disappoint. Can't beat knee highs and creepers!

So there's my small selection of favourite outfits! I hope you guys will check out their blogs and show some love!

Festival Thinking

Kimono - Topshop
Boots - Dr Martens
Floral Crown - Made by a friend
Necklace - Kukee

Summer time is fast approaching which only means one thing, festivals! My favourite! Currently I'm going to Slam Dunk south at the end of May which I went to last year as well and also fingers crossed for Reading festival (depending on funds).
I have had these shorts for a while now and completely forgot about them, I bought them from a little boutique whilst visiting portobello market and I think they would be perfect festival wear, especially paired with a kimono. I have to be honest this is my house mates kimono, I need to get another one for myself! I'm really liking the tassels. You either have to wear wellies or DMs to a festival due to the mud so I thought these were appropriate.

Are you going to any festivals this Summer?

First blogiversary!!

My little blog is now one year old!! I'm pretty surprised that I have actually posted regularly for the whole year as well as completing my university work. The past year has been so great and I've been lucky enough to have lots of opportunities through blogging such as going to events, press days, working with brands and last but not least getting involved in the amazing blogging community! The blogging community is the best part about blogging, I didn't no it existed before and how supportive everyone is.
So I thought I would do a little round up of all of my favourite posts and the most popular over the last year! Photos have links below.

So there are my favourite/most popular posts over the past year! Most of them are quite recent which shows more people are viewing my blog which is amazing!

Sophie!

I would love it if you could nominate my blog in the Cosmopolitan blog awards for best new fashion blog!
