Jacamo, featuring a boy!

I've been wanting to get the boyfriend on the blog for a while now but he's been refusing. I always love seeing how guys style pieces because they usually have such a different take then us girls.
So I have now forced John to style up this parker from Jacamo!
I've always thought that guys get neglected in the fashion industry and there aren't many places for them to shop at high-street prices. I've discovered this whilst hunting for presents for the males in my life. John and I both really liked the Jacamo site and found they had a good mix of pieces. If you or other half are a fan of Cricket they even have a Freddy Flintoff range!
You can't beat a good parker! John and I both agreed that we liked this parker even more in real life, especially the fleece on the inside of the hood. John also said that it's really warm and water proof as it decided to rain the day I wanted to take photos. Atleast we got to try it out in the appropriate weather conditions. This is why I've included inside and outfit photos. I didn't have a hood and looked like a drowned rat! Stupid Winter. We had a lovely day out in the rain we went to the Imperial war museum and then a wonder along Southbank.

Have you shopped at Jacamo before?

Floral kimono

Happy Valentines day! Today I am spending it with my boyfriend who has come up from Cornwall and then going for dinner with him and four friends then going to see All time low and You me at six at the O2 arena as my friend as got us tickets! Sweet, These two bands especially All time low are nostalgic for me.
Now the outfit, I think this kimono is going to be perfect for the fast approaching Spring season due to it's length. I hate showing my skin so it will be a great cover up. Also it only cost my £10 in the sale so I definitely couldn't say no!

Are you doing/did anything special for Valentines?

Enchilada!

This post is a little different to my usual but I thought I would give it ago as I am loving this meal at the moment! I'm going crazy for pinterest lately and all the amazing recipes that are on there. I came across this delicious healthier take on an enchilada by food blogger Damn Delicious! Basically you are replacing the bread with quinoa. I had never really eaten quinoa before this and now I can't stop eating it!

Ingredients:
Enchilada sauce/kit
3/4 cup of quinoa
1 Onion
1/2 tin of sweetcorn
1/2 tin of black beans
1/2 pepper
Cheddar cheese
First off cook your quinoa, probably best to follow your packs instructions. But it's pretty simple, 3/4 cup cover with boiling water and then simmer for around 15 minutes. Whilst this is cooking chop your onion and pepper and drain your sweetcorn and black beans.
Add your enchilada sauce and seasoning if you have a kit. I used a kit because it was the same price as the jar of sauce. And the kit came with two sachets of sauce so I made two lots! Mix everything together and put into an heat proof casserole dish. Now cover with cheese and place in the oven.
Cook until the cheese has melted and the enchilada mix to hot and bubbling! And your done.
I added a side of avocado to mine but you can add anything maybe a side salad or nothing at all. This made me about 3 servings, 1 dinner and 2 pack lunches for work.
This is a super easy meal to make and really delicious. I have made this a couple of times already and plan on making it on the weekend too! I hope you like my first food post!

Let me know if you make it!

Drop Dead: I have no friends

Fishnets - primark

As soon as  I saw this dress I had to buy it (once it was in stock) and I love it! It's such a comfy tshirt style dress which is also a good length not too short not too long! And the love the add of the collar, but I am a sucker for collars! I'm loving the drop dead winter '14 collection there's a crop top with fangs on and another navy dress I have my eye on!

Have you bought from drop dead before?
